Ringling Circus And CIDC Hiring Local Coney Denizens

The summer spectacular is a sure-fire event for this 2009 summer but it cannot run without the help of its employees. On May 27th the Ringling Brother Barnum & Bailey Circus and the Coney Island Development Corporation will hold a job fair to take of that. They have announced approximately 200 jobs available for ‘those who want to be able to live at home but run away with the circus for the summer’. Those positions include ticket sellers, ticket takers, ushers and custodial and maintenance personnel.

The CIDC also plugged their plan into the job fair announcement saying the job creations for Coney Island for the Circus Boom-A-Ring is just a ‘preview to what is in store for Coney’s future’.

Applications can be obtained online at the Coney Island Development Corporation Web site.
