It Will Be The Largest Dinner Party In The World And It's Going to Be At Coney Island

20,000 people will be expected to this grand event organized by Paramount Pictures.  To promote the new motion picture by Steve Carrell, entitled: DINNER WITH SCHMUCKS.  The film company hopes to break the world record for the largest dinner party previously held by Alpha Kappa Alpha Society in 2008 who had 16,206 members.  This grand event will take place from the beach from the Aquarium and along the well known businesses on the boardwalk.

The event is in need of volunteers.  Please The major networks will be there, as well as the movie's cast which also stars Paul Rudd. 

There will be a meeting tomorrow for business owners and stakeholders only.  They will go over details of the event.

The dinner party will start at 5pm which will include three courses served by waiters.  dessert is at 6:30 pm where the cast will appear.  At 7pm Guinness  Book of World Record judges will make announcement if the record has been won.

Dear Coney Island Businesses and Stakeholders:
Greetings!  Hope the 2010 Season has been a fruitful one for you so far.
You are invited to attend a meeting tomorrow, Friday, July 9th at 11am, at the New York Aquarium Main Conference Room, for a quick briefing on an exciting upcoming promotional event / Guinness World Record attempt that will be taking place in Coney Island on Sunday, July 18th.  (In short, Paramount Pictures and NYC &Company, in promotion of the new Steve Carrell movie “Dinner with Schmucks”, will attempt to break the world record for the largest dinner party in the world and they have chosen Coney Island as the place to do it.  For your reference, the previous record is held by the 16,206 members of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority in 2008.)
In an effort to provide everyone with as much information as is available, the event organizers would like to meet the local businesses who may be interested in taking part in the event or who desire to learn more about what is planned.  Meeting will be brief.  Please make every effort to attend or to send a representative.  Coffee and pastries will be served.
